Eastern Mediterranean takes three resale tankers from Top Ships
Splash247 reports shipbroker accounts of Eastern Mediterranean Maritime acquiring three MR tanker newbuilding resales from TOP Ships. The 50,000-dwt ships were under construction at Hyundai Mipo and identified as hulls 2789, 2790 and 2791.
Intermodal and Allied Shipbroking were cited for an indicated price of $34m per vessel. The scrubber-equipped tankers were scheduled for delivery in the first quarter of 2021.
