Cookie Policy

Scope and technologies
Cookies are small files stored by a website in a browser. Similar technologies include local storage and embedded services that make requests to external providers. This policy covers the storage and external-service controls implemented on this website. Cookies on a regulatory website, transfer agent portal or another website that you visit by following a link are governed by that operator’s own notice.
Essential form session
PHPSESSID is a first-party session cookie used by the form endpoint when you request form processing. It associates the browser with the form security token and anti-abuse controls. It is set with Secure, HttpOnly and SameSite=Strict attributes; its browser lifetime is the session. This cookie is used to deliver the form function you request and is not an advertising identifier. Blocking essential session cookies may prevent submissions. Merely browsing a page does not request a form token.
Your saved choice
tops_cookie_consent_v1 is a first-party local-storage entry containing your optional-service choice and the time it was made. It is kept for up to 180 days, unless you change the choice or clear browser storage sooner. It prevents repeated prompts and allows the site to apply your selection consistently. It is not sent to an advertising network, and it does not identify you by name or email. If browser storage is unavailable, the choice applies only to the current page session.
Optional external maps and videos
Google Maps provides the office map, YouTube provides embedded vessel videos, and OpenStreetMap provides vessel-map tiles. They do not load before the relevant optional-service choice in this implementation. Loading them sends technical information such as your IP address, browser information and requested resource to the provider; providers may use their own cookies or equivalent mechanisms according to their policies. You can keep these services disabled and still read the site. Read the provider’s privacy information before enabling them. The list describes the integrations used here and does not claim an exhaustive inventory of identifiers a third party may change.
Fonts, analytics and advertising
Site fonts are served from this website, so displaying typography does not require a Google Fonts request. The local analog and digital clocks use your browser and do not contact an external time service. This implementation does not deploy its own analytics or advertising cookies. If optional analytics or advertising is introduced later, its purpose, provider, storage period and consent control must be described before it is activated.
Accepting, rejecting and changing choices
Essential operation remains available without consenting to optional maps and videos. Accept optional services to enable them, or choose Necessary only to keep them disabled. Both choices are available in the preference panel. Use Cookie settings on this page to change your choice at any time. Withdrawal stops future optional requests after the setting is applied and the page is refreshed; it does not undo information already received by an external provider. Your browser can also delete stored cookies or local storage and block particular providers.
Provider information, changes and contact
Review Google’s privacy information for Google Maps and YouTube, and the OpenStreetMap privacy information for map tiles. Third-party practices may change independently of this site. This policy and the controls will be updated if integrations change. For questions, contact info@topships.org at Iouliou Kaisara 20, 19002 Paiania, Greece. The Privacy Policy explains personal-data rights, legal bases, recipients and complaints.
