This policy concerns this website; separate employment, contractual, securities-holder or third-party service notices may apply to other activities.
Information you provide
An investor inquiry collects your name, email address, optional subject and message. Email alerts collect the email address you submit. Correspondence may contain additional information that you choose to provide. Do not include passwords, payment information or unnecessary sensitive personal data. These fields are provided voluntarily, but the marked fields are needed to process the relevant request. You may instead contact the company directly by email or telephone.
Technical information and choices
Requests to the website can expose an IP address, request time, requested page, browser and device information, referrer information and technical security events to the hosting infrastructure. The form service uses a session identifier and security token when a form is used. Optional-service choices are stored locally in your browser. We do not install our own advertising or audience-measurement trackers in this implementation. External providers receive technical information when their maps or videos are enabled; see the Cookie Policy.
Purposes and legal bases
Inquiries and correspondence are used to understand and respond to your request, based on legitimate interests in corporate communication or, where relevant, steps requested before entering a contract. Requested email alerts are based on your consent, which you may withdraw. Technical processing supports delivery, security, prevention of abuse and diagnosis of faults, based on legitimate interests, subject to your rights. Records may also be processed where required by law or necessary for legal claims. Optional services that require consent are activated only following your choice; essential storage used solely to provide a requested function is treated separately.
How submissions are routed
The new website forwards inquiry fields and alert email addresses server-side to the corresponding existing topships.org forms, preserving the company’s established recipients and subscription workflow. Data you enter is therefore processed by those existing systems as well as this website’s form service. Submission feedback reports whether receipt could be confirmed; it is not a guarantee of subsequent action or delivery of every alert. The site does not make visitor messages public.
Recipients and service providers
Access is limited according to the task to authorised company personnel and providers supporting hosting, maintenance, security, communications and the existing inquiry and subscription systems. VNG supports the website’s construction and hosting environment. External maps, video platforms, regulatory sites and the transfer agent operate under their own applicable notices when you use them. Information may be disclosed to competent authorities or professional advisers where lawfully necessary. The website does not sell inquiry or subscription data or use it for targeted advertising.
International processing
The company and some providers operate internationally. Use of an external service may involve processing outside your country, including outside the European Economic Area. Where GDPR transfer rules apply, the applicable legal transfer mechanism and safeguards must govern that processing. The relevant arrangement depends on the recipient and service; contact info@topships.org for information about a particular transfer and available safeguards. Enabling an external service is not a blanket waiver of data protection rights.
Retention
Information is kept only for the period justified by its purpose and applicable obligations. Relevant criteria include the time needed to resolve an inquiry, an ongoing communication or relationship, whether an alert subscription remains active, security investigation needs, statutory retention duties and limitation periods for claims. A withdrawal ends consent-based future alerts, subject to handling time; a minimal record may remain where necessary to document the request or comply with law. Your rights
Where applicable, you may request access, correction, erasure, restriction, data portability and information about recipients and safeguards. You may object to processing based on legitimate interests on grounds relating to your situation, and to direct marketing at any time. Withdraw consent without affecting the lawfulness of earlier processing. Rights are subject to their legal conditions and exceptions, including records needed for legal duties or claims. Send requests to info@topships.org; proportionate identity verification may be required before disclosing personal information. Under GDPR, requests are generally answered within one month, with a permitted extension where justified and notified.
Subscriptions and complaints
To stop alerts, use an unsubscribe facility provided in the alert or contact investors@topships.org with the subscribed email address. You can withdraw optional-service consent through Cookie settings. You may lodge a complaint with the competent supervisory authority; for Greece, this is the Hellenic Data Protection Authority at www.dpa.gr. These options do not limit other available remedies.
Security, children and automated decisions
The form service uses encrypted transport, security tokens, restricted session cookies and measures against automated abuse. No system can guarantee absolute security. Report suspected misuse to info@topships.org without sending sensitive secrets. This corporate website is not directed at children and does not intentionally solicit their personal information. This implementation does not use website inquiries to make solely automated decisions with legal or similarly significant effects and does not profile visitors for advertising.

Updates will appear here with a revised date when the website or relevant processing changes. A change to this notice does not itself create a new lawful basis or authorise incompatible use of existing data.
